Melody Bahai

Senior Counsel

Ms. Bahai is Senior Counsel with Murphy Pearson Bradley & Feeney in the San Francisco office. She counsels clients in a variety of matters related to professional liability, legal malpractice and all forms of civil litigation.

Most recently, Ms. Bahai was an Assistant District Attorney with the San Francisco District Attorney's office, in their General Felonies Trial Unit. She prosecuted serious and violent Felony offenses and handled all phases of prosecution from plea negotiations to sentencing.

Prior to the General Felonies Trial Unit, Ms. Bahai worked with the Preliminary Hearings, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanors, Homicide and Writs and Appeals Units.

When not at the office, she enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

Highlights

  • Ms. Bahai first-chaired twenty five jury trials to verdict with favorable outcomes.
  • Ms. Bahai conducted over sixty Preliminary Hearings for crimes ranging from attempted murder to residential burglary. Many of the hearings included co-defendant cases.
  • Ms. Bahai assisted in training outside agencies on testifying, including the San Francisco Fire Department.

Ms. Bahai is a member of the California State Bar Association, California District Attorneys Association, the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA) and the Queen's Bench Bar Association.
