Ms. Beene is a litigation associate in the Sacramento office of Murphy Pearson Bradley & Feeney. She practices in state and federal court, focusing primarily in the defense of businesses, individuals and healthcare providers in matters involving professional liability, construction defect, employment, personal injury and complex litigation matters.
Ms. Beene has an aggressive litigation style, obtaining favorable settlement outcomes, as well as defense verdicts for her clients at trial. Ms. Beene played college soccer at the University of Notre Dame. She then went on to play for the United States Women's Soccer team and the San Jose CyberRays of the now defunct Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA).
Outside of work, Ms. Beene enjoys watching soccer and Notre Dame football, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Ms. Beene co-authored an Amicus Curiae brief with the United States Supreme Court on behalf of the Trucking Insurance Defense Association (TIDA) in the case J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. v. Gerardo Ortega, et al. arguing against the Ninth Circuit holding allowing California to impose mandatory meal-and-rest-beak laws on the trucking industry in contravention of the pre-emption provided by the Federal Aviation Administration Authorization Act of 1994 (FAAAA).
Ms. Beene is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association.
