Tyra Mendez


Ms. Mendez is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney. In that capacity, she counsels clients in a variety of matters related to business law, professional liability, and all forms of civil litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mendez worked for the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, for Impact Fund, providing grants, education and training to public interest attorneys, and as a site coordinator for Volunteers in Tax Assistance, providing free tax preparation services to members of the Tenderloin, San Francisco community.

When Ms. Mendez is not practicing law, she enjoys DIY projects and is a craft enthusiast. Ms. Mendez is always open to discovering unique eateries and parks throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and dog.

Ms. Mendez is active in the American Bar Association, the Charles Houston Bar Association, and the National Bar Association.

While in law school, Ms. Mendez was active in the American Bar Association, Black Law Student Association, the Charles Houston Bar Association, Hastings to Haiti Partnership, Hastings Women's Law Journal, Legal Education Opportunity Program Teacher's Aid, Legal Writing and Research Teacher's Aid, National Bar Association, National Lawyers Guild, and UC Hastings Admissions Committee.
