Arthur Pearson specializes in accounting and tax malpractice defense, as well as in tax and business transactions. His broad experience in taxation issues, combined with years of successfully representing clients in jury trials, instills client confidence and trust in his ability to successfully resolve complex tax issues. Mr. Pearson is not afraid to advocate aggressive handling of underlying tax issues in order to facilitate claim resolution prior to extensive discovery or trial.

Professional Contributions
Mr. Pearson has authored or contributed to many articles and educational materials on taxation issues and accounting malpractice risk management for the AICPA, the California Society of CPAs, and various professional liability carriers. A highly requested lecturer on the subject of tax and accounting malpractice risk management, he has addressed AICPA-sponsored events, individual accounting firms, accountants and attorneys for malpractice insurance carriers and accountants' state and business organizations and governing bodies.
Mr. Pearson is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, and the California State Bar - Taxation Section. He also has been a California real estate broker since 1988.
