Mr. Perelman is a senior shareholder at Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney. As the managing shareholder of the firm's Employment Practice Group he advises and represents companies in a broad range of matters arising under state and federal law. His practice is primarily devoted to defending employers in connection with claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and other employment-related claims in state and federal courts and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and other administrative agencies. Additionally, Mr. Perelman counsels companies of all sizes on strategies for minimizing the risk of employment litigation. Mr. Perelman also assists emerging businesses with the development of policies, handbooks as well as executive compensation agreements.
For the past thirty-plus years Mr. Perelman has also represented lawyers, real estate professionals and landowners in a broad spectrum of matters ranging from administrative hearings to multi-million dollar trials. Additionally, he has extensive experience in public entity work as well as defending personal injury claims.
Mr. Perelman believes that strategic preparation, creative problem solving and communication are the cornerstones to success, and he approaches each new engagement with these principles in mind. Mr. Perelman is an AV-review rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Perelman has been selected to the Northern California Super Lawyer list every year from 2013-2019.
Mr. Perelman is an active member of the Bar Association of San Francisco. He is panel counsel for the California Association of Realtors. Mr. Perelman frequently participates in risk management seminars for businesses involving professional malpractice and employment related issues.
Mr. Perelman had a 20 year relationship with the YMCA of San Francisco as a high school basketball coach and volunteer. He was the chairman of the Board of Managers for the Shih-Yu Lang Central YMCA and was a member of the Board of Directors for the YMCA of San Francisco.
