Ms. Rho specializes in Employment Litigation and Advising. She has extensive experience in defending employers against claims of wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination and harassment claims, alleged violations of state and federal leave laws, and alleged Labor Code violations including wage and hour violations in both state and federal courts throughout California, having personally handled numerous lawsuits and pre-litigation investigations since 2010. She actively represents clients in multiple industries, including: high tech companies, small businesses, the hospitality industry, and various professional service providers.
A significant portion of Ms. Rho's practice involves advising employers regarding day-to-day management decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable Labor laws and regulations, drafting employee handbooks, employment agreements, confidential information and invention assignment agreements, managing an international workforce, and advising multinational corporations on California employment issues. She also provides training to managers and supervisors in all areas of employment law, including sexual harassment prevention, disciplinary practice, and interactive procedures and accommodation policies.
Ms. Rho is an Advisory Board Member of the Los Angeles Junior Golf Foundation which provides today's youth with an opportunity to experience the game of a lifetime and is committed to creating and maintaining a golf program geared to introducing Los Angeles youth to County facilities and exposing them to valuable life skills such as Respect, Integrity, Character and Honor (RICH).
Ms. Rho is also actively involved in the Stanford Alumni Association, serving as class correspondent for the Stanford Alumni Magazine, and GirlVentures, whose mission is to empower adolescent girls to develop and express their strengths by combining outdoor adventure with social emotional learning.
