Mr. Silverman is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office, where he represents businesses and individuals in all phases of civil litigation. His practice extends to commercial, business, professional liability, and real estate litigation matters, including malpractice, employment, insurance defense, premises liability, breach of contract and construction defect claims.
After graduation, Mr. Silverman clerked for the Honorable Lauren S. Holland, an Oregon Circuit Court Judge. Judge Holland is a member of the Commercial Court which handles the more complex commercial cases, is assigned to the Probate Docket which covers probate and trust cases, and presides over all manner of civil and criminal trials. Mr. Silverman engaged in legal research and writing on a wide variety of civil and criminal legal issues; conducted independent audits of estate, trust, and protective proceeding accountings; and directed the courtroom before and after being in session.
While in law school, Mr. Silverman worked for the Oregon Department of Justice and two civil litigation firms in Eugene and Portland, Oregon.
Prior to law school, Mr. Silverman played professional baseball for the Chico Outlaws in Chico, California, and the Malvern Braves in Melbourne, Australia.
Mr. Silverman is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, San Francisco Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Association, and the State Bar of California.
