Kavin A. Williams

Mr. Williams is an attorney at Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney in their San Francisco office where he represents individuals and corporate clients with matters involving commercial and business litigation, transactions, real estate, professional liability, and employment law. Mr. Williams' has a particular emphasis in the barbering and cosmetology industry. Mr. Williams' litigation practice includes handling claims for wage and hour, misclassification, business disputes, premises liability, and professional liability. His transactional practice transactional practice includes: corporate entity formation, business planning, and corporate governance; commercial real estate sale, acquisition, and leasing; employment and labor law; raising capital; and mergers and acquisitions.

While attending the University of Puget Sound, Mr. Williams played varsity football and was a representative on the NCAA's National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Later he played as an imported player in Helsinki, Finland and Basel, Switzerland where he won a national championship.

While attending the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Williams a student attorney with the Community and Economic Development Clinic, and a pro-bono volunteer for Legal Services of South Central Michigan.

Prior to joining Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney, Mr. Williams was a legal fellow with the Lawyers' Committee For Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area in its Legal Services for Entrepreneurs program. As a legal fellow, he represented and counselled small business clients on commercial real estate, land use, employment law, and financial matters.

In his spare time, Mr. Williams enjoys staying active. He is a member of Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney's 2018 championship Lawyer's League Softball team. He is a member of a city-league recreational basketball team. He also volunteers with LibriVox and with housing shelters in the Bay Area.
