Manufacturing

Attorneys in Murphy Pearson’s Manufacturing industry group, represent clients as outside general counsel and in discrete transactions or disputes. We understand the dynamics of supply chain negotiations, intellectual property associated with the manufacture of products, and claims and litigation that can arise from the use of products.

Helping manufacturers with business operations, we regularly negotiate contracts, leases, licenses, joint ventures, and distribution agreements, as well as representing parties to acquisitions and mergers. Our employment lawyers counsel clients in best practices, develop training manuals and employee handbooks, negotiate executive contracts and severance packages, provide mandatory supervisor training to prevent sexual harassment, and defend employers in claims raised by employees and former employees.

Handling claims tendered through insurance companies, we defend manufacturers in product and general liability claims, as well as personal injury and other types of complex litigation.
